Hole io launched on Steam on May 20, 2024, accompanied by three DLC packs (Freaks, Animals, and Red Planet). A second wave of six additional DLC packs (War Zone, Ancient, Construction, Japan, Pyramids, and Apocalypse) all released simultaneously on December 4, 2025. All nine listed DLC packs are now released, and none are marked as unreleased on the store. The developer (VOODOO) has not published any news posts, patch notes, announcements, or developer communications on Steam at any point — the entire news history of 10 scanned posts contains no substantive developer communication. There is no roadmap, no announced future content, and no indication of an ongoing update cadence. With all DLC shipped as of December 4, 2025, and no developer communication signaling further plans, the game appears to have reached its complete content state.
