Home is a short, self-contained horror adventure game that launched on August 31, 2012. Over the following years, BancyCo delivered several updates: a major content patch in July 2013 (v1.4.3, which added a new area), Steam Achievements in November 2015 (v1.5.1), a crash fix in February 2016 (v1.5.2), and a substantial overhaul in March 2017 (v1.6.0) adding controller support, mouse support, ultrawide compatibility, and various fixes. That March 2017 update was framed as future-proofing the game for new players, with no mention of any further content plans. Since March 2017, all developer communications on this page have been about separate, new BancyCo titles — the announcement and launch of Alone With You (February 2017) and, more recently, the announcement and launch of Neo Harbor Rescue Squad (November 2024). None of these posts reference any additional content or updates planned for Home itself. The store description presents Home as a complete, standalone experience with no mention of DLC, updates, or ongoing development. There are no unreleased DLC entries. The game launched as a finished product and received incremental improvements over its first five years, with the last meaningful update arriving in March 2017. It has operated as a complete package since then.
