Hoo-Boy

Hoo-Boy is a small indie platformer that launched on September 29, 2017 with 15 levels, then received its most substantial update on October 28, 2018, adding 10 new levels, enemies, customization, gamepad support, and other features — bringing the game to its current 25-level scope described in the store page. No further content updates followed after that point. The developer's most recent communication about Hoo-Boy itself was a September 8, 2025 patch that added cloud saving and access to a legacy version of the game — a maintenance-type update rather than new content. A March 4, 2025 post announced a playtest for a different game entirely (Bony Odyssey), and a September 6, 2019 post similarly promoted another unrelated title (Everybody Loves Skeletons). The developer has not announced any planned content for Hoo-Boy, and the store description presents the game as a fixed package of 25 levels. With the last meaningful content having shipped in October 2018 and no indication of further additions, the game is complete as a finished product.
