Hook 2

Hook 2 is a minimal puzzle game that launched on June 29, 2022. The developer added 6 new levels on January 25, 2023, and noted at that time that more levels would come "if new features can be implemented" — a conditional statement rather than a firm commitment. Since then, the developer's public communications have been entirely focused on new, separate games: two new titles were announced in March 2024 (Zerko and No.9), and another new game (Overwords) was announced and launched in August 2025. There have been no posts referencing Hook 2 content or updates since January 25, 2023. The January 2023 post itself mentioned the developer was already working on a new game, signaling that Hook 2 development was winding down. The developer's pattern across their catalog is to ship compact, self-contained puzzle games rather than sustain long post-launch content cycles. Given that over two years have passed since the last Hook 2 update, with the developer having since released multiple other titles, the game appears to be complete as of the January 2023 level update.
