Horror Night launched into Early Access on February 4, 2022. During its first year, the developer was active — shipping several DLC packs and a series of bug fix patches through late 2022. On September 17, 2023, the developer posted an announcement describing ambitious plans for version 1.0.0, including a full engine migration from Unity to Unreal Engine 5, a new map, new villains, new player characters, an improved online system, and expanded story modes. No release date was given for 1.0.0. That September 17, 2023 post is the last official communication from DeadlyCrow Games on any channel. As of June 22, 2026, no further updates, patches, or developer posts have appeared — a silence of over two and a half years. The promised 1.0 release has not arrived, and the game remains in Early Access. With substantial content commitments still outstanding and no developer communication since September 2023, it is unclear whether work on version 1.0.0 is continuing.

Find your way out from an abandoned mansion by solving puzzles, hiding from a horrifying creature, and working in team, in a new multiplayer, third person, horror experience.

Multiplayer Videogame

Revive all survivors by bringing their skulls into the resurrection ritual!

Play as the Creature

Choose your favorite skin, improve your skills by eating rats, and crouch for better speed to catch all survivors.

Solve Puzzles to Escape the Mansion

Escape by solving randomized puzzles in the mansion, or simply completing a hidden ritual that will get you out of the mansion.

New Lobby

Waiting for your friends to join a match is no longer tedious ;) You'll be able to explore much more terrifying surroundings while doing so, and even speed up the game by simply pressing the new "force start match" lever.

Character Selection

Play as the monster or as a survivor in this Free to Play asymmetric version, by throwing yourself into the Well Of Doom.

Improved Interaction

Interacting with objects is now faster and easier. Just by pressing E! ;)

Teleportation

Escape from the Ayurok clutches even faster through portals and wardrobes.

**New Horror Night Store**

Acquire new items in the official store, by either shopping with real cash (buying gold coins), or simply by completing different missions and objectives within the game, to earn silver coins.
