Evaluation
Hotel Remorse is a short, free horror game originally created in 2015 and released on Steam on July 27, 2018. The store description explicitly describes it as the developer's first game and frames it as a compact, self-contained jumpscare experience. There is no DLC, no season pass, no roadmap, and no developer statements about planned future content. The only post-launch update on record is a VR support patch from April 27, 2026, which added SteamVR compatibility — a technical improvement rather than new story content. This is consistent with a completed game receiving occasional maintenance. The game launched as a finished product and there is no indication that additional content has ever been planned or is forthcoming.
Evidence
Store description frames the game as a short, self-contained experience ('The first game I made back in 2015'), with no mention of planned updates or additional content.
VR support update added a SteamVR launch executable — a technical patch with no new story or gameplay content.
