House Flipper 2 launched on December 14, 2023 and has received a consistent stream of major paid and free content updates since then. Major releases include the Co-op DLC (May 15, 2025), the Scooby-Doo DLC (October 23, 2025), the Sakura DLC (May 21, 2026), and several substantial free updates such as the Garden Update (March 13, 2025) and the Buyers 2.0 Update (May 21, 2026). More content is firmly on the way. The Pets DLC is listed on the Steam store as unreleased with no release date. Developer communications make clear this is actively in development: on July 23, 2026, Frozen District published a new roadmap covering Q3/Q4 2026 that includes the Pets DLC. On August 9, 2026 — the most recent developer post — they launched the first in a dedicated Pets DLC devlog series, showing detailed 3D model and animation progress and confirming they are presenting a playable demo at Gamescom 2026 (August 2026). The studio is clearly active, communicating regularly, and well into production of the next major release.
