House of Lizards launched on December 15, 2023. In the weeks following release, the developer (Dungeon Master / Ancient Russ) shipped two feature updates: one on December 22, 2023 adding a sword mechanic, English voice acting, and bug fixes, and another on December 27, 2023 adding a full suite of cutscenes for all locations. On February 17, 2024, the developer published trading cards, badges, and emoticons — a typical final housekeeping step for a released game. No further communications have been made since February 17, 2024. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no roadmap pointing to additional updates. The game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained product and received only launch-window polish patches before going quiet. With no developer communication since February 17, 2024 and no history of sustained major content updates beyond the initial launch window, the game is best understood as a finished product.
