Evaluation

Human-Powered Spacecraft launched on May 3, 2018 as a self-contained casual clicker game. The developer has made occasional maintenance updates over the years — adding language support and fixing bugs — but no major content expansions to the base game. The game shipped as a finished product and has remained so. On April 23, 2026, the developer announced a sequel (Human-Powered World, Steam App ID 4573180), explicitly framing it as a new, separate game rather than additional content for this one. The announcement celebrates the original and invites players to wishlist the sequel, but does not promise any new content for Human-Powered Spacecraft itself. The most recent post (May 8, 2026) is a small hotfix addressing UI and camera bugs — consistent with occasional upkeep rather than active content development. The original game is complete. Anyone waiting to play it in its finished state can do so now.
Evidence
Developer announces a sequel (Human-Powered World) as a separate new game, not additional content for Human-Powered Spacecraft. The original game is described as complete with the sequel being a fresh project.

About this game

A nostalgia-infused pixel clicker in a comedy wrapper.
You play the part of a colonist set out to conquer new planets. As a supernova explosion takes out your ship's energy reserves, your only hope of getting back on course is a jerry-rigged old dynamo.

The game has:
* Stylish retro graphics
* A witty computer for a partner
* Ship improvements in all directions: a dynamo, a potato farm for energy generation and, of course, an antimatter distiller
* Smooth acceleration up to hyper-speed
* Space octopuses
And no lootboxes!
