On July 27, 2026, Triangle Factory officially announced the sunset of Hyper Dash, their longest-running game (2019–2026). The developer cited the game no longer generating enough revenue to cover server and maintenance costs, and noted that third-party software dependencies prevent community-hosted servers from being a viable alternative. The final game build (v38.6.0) was released on July 27, 2026. All DLC sales have been discontinued effective immediately, and the game's online servers are scheduled to shut down on November 1, 2026, after which only offline play will remain available. The game can still be purchased on Steam as of today, so it has not been delisted, but it is effectively in its final state — no further content or updates are planned. Prior to this announcement, the game had an active multi-year content history: it went free-to-play in December 2022, received new game modes, maps, weapons, and regular cosmetic DLC bundles throughout 2023, 2024, and 2025, with the most recent DLC (Glacier Bundle) having shipped on November 27, 2025. The developer's July 27, 2026 post supersedes all of that history and makes clear that development has concluded.
