Hypnagogia² 無限の夢 Boundless Dreams launched on October 29, 2021 and received two major post-launch content updates: "The Sunken Update" (Version 0.3) on December 22, 2021, and "The Ancient Update" (Version 0.4) on May 20, 2022, along with several smaller patches. Following a minor patch on June 18, 2022 (Version 0.4.1), the developer stated they were taking a break and stepping back from active development to focus on other projects. No further updates to the game's content have been made since then. The only DLC ever listed for this game is a soundtrack, which was released on December 9, 2023. No unreleased DLC or outstanding content commitments exist for Boundless Dreams. Subsequent developer activity in the Hypnagogia series has been focused entirely on new, separately-sold titles. On April 14, 2026, the developer announced a new prequel game, Hypnagogia: Broken Dreams, with its own Steam store page. On June 17, 2026, a playable demo for that game was released during Steam Next Fest, with the developer noting a full release is coming soon. On September 23, 2026, the developer announced that the original first Hypnagogia game is also coming to Steam with a graphical overhaul. None of these posts announce or imply any new content for Boundless Dreams itself. This game is a complete, finished product.
