Evaluation

Hyposphere launched on May 5, 2016 and received a flurry of feature patches and bug fixes throughout 2016, followed by a major engine and graphics overhaul (Hyposphere Deluxe v1.1) on July 12, 2017. The game's most recent notable release was Hyposphere VR on November 1, 2017, which brought a new VR version for Oculus Rift along with updated ball physics. That post also mentioned a non-VR Steam update was "coming soon," but no such update ever materialized in the public record. There have been no developer communications, patches, or announcements of any kind since November 1, 2017. No DLC is listed on the store, no roadmap or future content has been promised, and the store description describes the game as a complete package with over 100 levels. Given that all developer activity ceased more than eight years ago (as of June 2026) with no outstanding commitments, the game is best understood as a finished, self-contained product.
