I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 is a free-to-play re-release of the 2009 Xbox Live Indie Games hit, rebuilt in a new engine and launched on Steam on November 11, 2021. The store description explicitly promises that online multiplayer is "coming soon" and that the developer will be "adding a few new features and bugfixes over time." Following launch, Ska Studios posted a hotfix on November 11, 2021, a second hotfix on December 14, 2022 with Steam Deck input fixes, and a feature update on January 14, 2023 adding CrowdControl streamer integration and new achievements. However, the studio has posted nothing since January 14, 2023 — a silence of over three years as of June 2026. The promised online multiplayer feature has never been mentioned again after the initial store description, and there is no indication of whether or when it might arrive. Given the outstanding promise of online multiplayer alongside the prolonged developer silence, it's unclear whether the remaining planned features are still actively being worked on.
