ibb & obb launched on Steam on May 26, 2014 as a complete, self-contained cooperative puzzle game with 15 levels and 8 hidden worlds. The only DLC ever released was the original soundtrack, which shipped on launch day — no paid content expansions or additional gameplay content have been added. Post-launch activity focused on platform expansions rather than new content: a Mac and Linux version arrived in May 2015, and a Nintendo Switch version launched on March 5, 2020. The Switch version was noted as an "upgraded" build with gameplay tweaks, and the developer indicated an intention to bring those changes to Steam "later this year" (2020). However, that Steam engine update was never announced as shipped, and the developer has made no official communications since March 2020 — over six years ago as of June 2026. The game has never had a post-launch content cycle: no expansions, no seasonal updates, no roadmap. It launched as a finished product and has remained unchanged in terms of gameplay content. The long silence since 2020 is consistent with a completed, maintenance-free release rather than ongoing development.
