Idle Devils launched on January 30, 2024 and has received a steady stream of updates since then, including three waves of paid DLC characters and two costume DLCs. All six DLC items listed on the store have been released, with the most recent pair (two costume packs) shipping on February 5, 2025.
The developer's communications since early 2025 paint a clear picture: the team has shifted its primary focus to a new game called StarAbyss Heroes. A March 14, 2025 developer post celebrated Idle Devils' two-year journey and thanked players, framing it as a retrospective rather than a forward-looking roadmap.
