Evaluation

Idle Hacking: An Inaction RPG launched on March 18, 2026 as a free-to-play persistent idle MMORPG. The game is built around live, always-online foundations: daily community boss events, player-run Syndicates, a player-to-player Marketplace, seasonal holiday events, and a continuously evolving gear and progression ecosystem. Since launch, the developer has maintained a relentless update cadence. The April 18, 2026 "Monthiversary" post catalogued dozens of additions in the first month alone and described the game as "designed to be a continually updated and evolving game." That post also announced a roadmap for a major roguelite dungeon crawling system and Syndicate Wars territory control — content that was explicitly described as a "mini-expansion." The Homelab Update shipped on May 1, 2026, introducing a major upgrade system across 8 categories and 32 upgrade types, with the developer noting it "will continue to get expanded over time." Further feature and bug-fix patches followed through June 2026. Most significantly, on September 10, 2026 — today — the developer shipped "Network Breaches," described as their biggest update yet. This adds a full co-op roguelite game mode with four distinct character classes, their own talent trees, a new crafting layer (Plugins and Catalysts), and a new combat mechanic (Attack Speed interleaving). This is exactly the roguelite dungeon system that was foreshadowed in the April roadmap, now delivered. The game's structure — persistent multiplayer world, seasonal community events like the July Fireworks Festival, shared social systems, and a development team actively shipping major content every 4-6 weeks — confirms this is an ongoing online service by design with no announced endpoint.
