Idle Sphere

Idle Sphere launched into Early Access on November 17, 2024, and remains in that state. Since launch, the developer has maintained a consistent and active update schedule. The game has received two major content updates: v2.0.0 (TOPOLOGY) on January 28, 2025, which introduced the Topology system, new enemies in Area 5, a new challenge, and new Arc Upgrades; and v2.0.5 on August 24, 2026 — just one day before today — which added the first playable Topology progression cycle connecting Topology, Celestial, and high-level Battle progression, along with Idle Mileage rewards and Google account/cross-platform cloud save linking. In between, the developer shipped numerous feature patches throughout late 2024 adding new areas, bosses, challenges, and gameplay systems. On November 26, 2024, the developer made an important public announcement about discontinuing the "Chaotics" monetization system and replacing it with a new graphics-focused DLC, demonstrating responsiveness to player feedback and ongoing engagement with the community. The v2.0.5 notes describe the Topology progression cycle as arriving for the first time in a playable state, suggesting this system has been in development for some time and is still being built out. The developer has not announced a 1.0 release target or indicated that the game is approaching feature completion. All signals point to a game that is actively being developed with continued content additions.
