Following launch, the developer released a series of bug-fix and balance patches through April 2024, with the last developer communication arriving on August 7, 2024 — a news post announcing a brand-new, separate game ("Echoes of the Divine Tree"), not any new content for Imaginary Future. There are no unreleased DLC entries in the store listing, no developer statements about future content for this game, and no established post-launch content update cadence beyond maintenance patches. The August 2024 post strongly suggests the studio has moved on to a new project. Imaginary Future appears to have shipped as a complete package at launch, with its sole DLC bundled on day two.
