Immortal Mantis

Immortal Mantis launched on April 22, 2022 as a self-contained horror RPG with a defined story and two possible endings. In the months following launch, the developer shipped several patches improving gameplay, puzzles, artwork, and translations, rounding out the experience. The game's store description presents it as a complete narrative product with no mention of planned DLC or ongoing content additions. As of May 22, 2022, the developer confirmed that a sequel (at the time informally called "Immortal Mantis 2") was in very early development — a separate game, not additional content for this one. On October 24, 2022, the developer released a playable demo for that sequel on itch.io, marking the last official communication related to this game. No posts, patches, or announcements have been made since October 24, 2022. All post-launch activity consisted of quality-of-life patches and lore corrections that were fully in service of the shipped game. The sequel is a distinct project. Immortal Mantis itself shipped as a finished, story-complete product, and no further content for it has been announced or indicated.
