IMMURE

IMMURE launched in a chapter-based format, with Part One releasing on May 8, 2019 (made free-to-play on December 17, 2020) and Part Two releasing as paid DLC on December 17, 2020. Both parts are now available, completing the two-part story the developer originally planned. In their April 2019 announcement, Wither Studios stated their plan was to "release two parts initially" and noted they had "crafted the way in which to wrap up the story enough to be a conclusion." They added that if the response was very positive, they would consider additional DLC chapters beyond the planned two — but this was conditional and speculative, not a commitment. Since Part Two shipped on December 17, 2020, developer activity has been limited to a feature patch in February 2021 (adding title cards and bug fixes) and a Russian localization update in October 2021. The last official communication was on October 29, 2021. No further content has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and there has been no developer post of any kind since October 2021. The conditional language around additional chapters ("if the response is really positive") never materialized into any announcement or commitment, and silence of this length — no posts since October 29, 2021 — strongly indicates that development has concluded with the two planned parts.
