Impact Point launched on July 20, 2022 as a free-to-play arena shooter and has received a consistent stream of major content updates since then. The developer has shipped three substantial updates post-launch: the 2024 update on February 26, 2024 (adding a level editor with workshop support, co-op 2v2, gun game, search and destroy mode, and more); the massive Halloween update on October 28, 2025 (adding a new weapon, a new map with a full lighting system, a leveling and XP system, daily missions, cosmetic rewards, graffiti systems, and a gold pass for DLC owners); and the St. Patrick's Day update on March 17, 2026 (adding bots, seasonal levels and EXP, and St. Patrick's Day seasonal rewards), followed by hotfixes through March 24, 2026. Notably, in the March 17, 2026 update post, the developer explicitly stated that updates "should become much more frequent especially with mobile and cross-play releasing," which signals that mobile support and cross-play are planned but unshipped features still in development. This is a concrete developer statement about upcoming content beyond what has already been delivered. The developer is a solo indie creator who has been candid about balancing university work alongside development, but has consistently returned to ship meaningful updates. The last developer communication was on March 24, 2026. As of October 1, 2026, that is approximately six months since the last post — which sits at the boundary of the established update cadence (roughly every 6–18 months between major releases). Given the explicit mention of mobile and cross-play as forthcoming, the game is not complete.
