In Verbis Virtus launched into full release on April 3, 2015, when the developer explicitly stated "In Verbis Virtus is finally complete" and shipped the final chapter (Chapter 3) along with the last major game content. Following launch, the team added localization support for German, French, Russian, Spanish, and Chinese through mid-2016, and issued several bug fixes. The only DLC ever released was the Original Soundtrack on July 13, 2015 — no content expansions or additional gameplay DLC were ever listed or announced. The most recent developer activity was a minor maintenance patch on October 22, 2024 removing a file flagged by antivirus software. No further content has been announced at any point since the 2015 launch, and the developer has never signaled plans for additional gameplay content. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained experience and has remained so.
