IN-VERT: Definitive Edition

IN-VERT: Definitive Edition is, as the title indicates, the definitive release of the original IN-VERT. On July 18, 2020, the developer shipped a major update that brought the game fully in line with its console counterpart, adding comic strip story content, a new fifth world with 14 levels and a final boss, and a redesigned interface. This update represented the content completion of the Definitive Edition package. Since then, the developer has continued to make smaller improvements — Japanese language support was added in March 2024, Korean localization in December 2024, and the soundtrack DLC was updated with three new tracks also in December 2024. These are polish and quality-of-life additions, not new game content. The sole DLC on the store (the soundtrack) is already released. The developer, TERNOX, remains active — but their recent posts focus on other projects: a free dating sim (PockeDate!, released November 2024), a stock market simulator (STONKS-9800), and several newly announced games including Valkyrie Iteration and Desktop Akari. There is no announced future content for IN-VERT: Definitive Edition itself, and nothing in the news or store suggests additional content is planned for it.
