Industry Manager: Future Technologies launched on October 6, 2016. In the months following launch, astragon Entertainment released a series of patches addressing bugs, AI behavior, and game balancing (October 14, November 14, and December 2016). A single DLC — the Awesome Products Pack — shipped on December 5, 2016 as a free add-on for existing owners. The final recorded developer communication was a patch on January 18, 2017, which focused on AI improvements and game balancing. Since that date, there have been no further developer posts, patches, announcements, or DLC releases. The one DLC in the store listing is marked as released. The developer has not announced any additional content, and the pattern of activity — a launch followed by post-launch stabilization patches and one DLC, all wrapping up by January 2017 — is consistent with a game that shipped as a complete, finite product and has concluded its post-launch support cycle.

Your aim: To build a profitable empire by expanding your product range and researching new products, thereby outsmarting your competitors. But your mission won't be easy! Among other things, you'll have to consider the global market when expanding your production pipeline. Build your empire on the laws of supply and demand, market your products based on their best qualities and sell them in different markets.
You'll need to build your production chain as economically as possible, based on market research and the availability of resources, in order to develop and distribute goods with maximum efficiency. By researching new production technologies and product innovations you'll be able to improve and advance your consumer goods. Always keep an eye on your competitors as they also have their own agendas and will influence the dynamic market as well as supply and demand. Develop completely new, customizable products such as the energy-efficient airplane, a digital computer watch or an exclusive bicycle with three wheels.
