Evaluation
Inertial Drift launched on September 11, 2020 and received a series of free feature updates throughout 2021, adding new cars, overhauled leaderboards, and quality-of-life improvements. The developer announced in October 2021 that further updates were planned, including new tracks, cars, and expanded single-player content — commitments that were ultimately delivered through the Twilight Rivals Pack.
The Twilight Rivals Pack DLC was announced in June 2022 and released on November 15, 2022, adding a new story mode, four new cars, four new tracks, and a new Eurobeat soundtrack. This was the game's one and only paid DLC expansion.
Both DLC items listed on the store — the Twilight Rivals Pack and the original Soundtrack — are fully released. There are no unreleased DLC entries. The developer has not posted any news or announcements since the Twilight Rivals Pack launched in November 2022, a silence now stretching to June 2026. No future content, roadmap, or follow-up update has been communicated. The game shipped with a finite roster of content, received one major post-launch expansion, and has had no developer activity since that expansion's release. All signs point to development being complete as of November 15, 2022.
