Evaluation
Infiniclick launched on June 20, 2025. Shortly after launch, the developer posted on June 23, 2025 explicitly stating they would "keep working to improve the game" based on player feedback. The developer then followed through: a feature patch on June 21, 2025 added windowed mode and new music; a critical bug fix shipped on June 24, 2025; a substantial content update called "Artificial Ignorance" arrived on September 3, 2025, adding new programs, achievements, and mechanics; and a balance patch shipped on January 5, 2026.
That gives one major content release roughly 2.5 months after launch, and a follow-up patch roughly 4 months after that. The most recent developer communication was January 5, 2026. As of today (September 24, 2026), that is approximately 8.5 months ago. With only one major content release to establish a cadence, the interval between major updates is uncertain, but the developer has never announced that development is complete or that no further content is planned. The post-launch pattern — a developer commitment to improvement, a named content expansion, and continued patching — indicates a game still being actively worked on. The silence since January 5, 2026 is notable but does not yet clearly exceed a plausible update cycle for a small solo developer. No specific future content has been announced, and no DLC listings exist, so this remains a pattern-based assessment rather than a concrete commitment.
Evidence
Major content update 'Artificial Ignorance' ships, adding new programs, achievements, and mechanics
