Evaluation

Infinity Wars: Animated Trading Card Game has been in continuous active development since its September 2014 launch. The studio has maintained a steady cadence of patches, balance updates, and feature additions through 2025 and 2026, with the most recent developer communication on June 25, 2026. The most concrete upcoming content is a PvE campaign expansion called **Infinity Wars: Rise of the Rifts**, which is listed as an unreleased DLC on the Steam store. The developer formally announced it on May 7, 2026, and ran a patron-exclusive playtest of the Flame Dawn Campaign from late May through early June 2026. Following that playtest, the developer hosted a community Q&A session and continues gathering feedback ahead of the full release. In addition, the July 11, 2025 mid-year development update announced a new 100-card set called **Purification**, introducing new "Gold-Hybrid" cards and subfactions, along with planned Kickstarter campaigns for both Purification and the PvE content. Neither has shipped as of the most recent available information. The developer has also been consistently shipping gameplay improvements: a new PvE AI system launched in September 2025 (specifically described as the foundation for the upcoming campaigns), a time banking feature in November 2025, a quest system overhaul in April 2026, and a new exclusive battlefield for Patreon supporters. Ranked play seasons continue to operate, and new promotional cards are being added regularly.

About this game

PIONEER OF SIMULTANEOUS TURNS

Both players plan their turns simultaneously, with every action resolving at once.

The result is a fast-paced contest of prediction, bluffing, and anticipation, without the long waits between turns found in traditional card games.

Pioneered by Infinity Wars in 2012, simultaneous turns remain a standout in game design, and more than a decade later, few games have rivalled its strategic depth.

BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED CARDS

Every card in Infinity Wars is fully illustrated and animated, bringing each piece of art to life on the battlefield.

From characters to abilities, every card features unique animation that adds visual depth and energy to every match, redefining what a card game can be.

UNIQUE COMMANDER-BASED DECK BUILDING

Forge your strategy and lead your deck with three Commanders that define your strategy and unlock powerful faction bonuses.

Combine Commanders from different factions for flexible hybrid decks, or specialize in a single faction to access its strongest cards and synergies.

With countless Commander combinations to explore, the possibilities are nearly endless.

DEATH TO PAY-TO-WIN

Infinity Wars believes in Death to Pay-to-Win.

Build any deck, experiment with any strategy, and compete on a truly level playing field. Every player has access to the complete competitive card library, allowing skill, not spending, to determine the outcome.

Victory comes from deckbuilding, prediction, and gameplay mastery, not collection size.
