Ingression launched on May 3, 2024. Shortly after launch, the developer published a 2024 roadmap on May 29, 2024 outlining plans for collectibles and secret levels (which shipped in the June 27, 2024 major update), improvements to the trial level system (partially delivered via the November 6, 2024 update), and a Nintendo Switch port. The November 2024 update reaffirmed that work on the Switch version was ongoing. These two major content drops — the June collectibles update and the November trial level update — show the developer actively building on the game post-launch. However, the developer's last official communication was on November 6, 2024. Given the roughly 5-month cadence between the two major updates (June to November 2024), over seven months of silence since then — with no news on the Nintendo Switch port or any other planned content — raises real uncertainty about whether development is continuing. The promised Switch release was never delivered, and no update has been given explaining the delay or confirming the project is still active.
