INMOST

INMOST launched on August 21, 2020 as a narrative puzzle platformer with a self-contained story estimated at 3–5 hours. Following launch, the developer shipped a series of patches (updates 1.0.1 through 1.0.4) between September and December 2020 addressing bugs, performance, and minor gameplay improvements. The last of these patches arrived on December 10, 2020, after which no further content updates were released for the game itself. The only DLC ever released is the soundtrack, which shipped alongside the game on August 21, 2020. No additional story content, expansions, or post-launch gameplay additions were ever announced or shipped. On August 29, 2024, Hidden Layer Games posted a fundraiser announcement for their former composer's health recovery — a touching gesture, but not a signal of new game content. On November 5, 2025, the studio celebrated 1.2 million players and announced a mobile port of INMOST for iOS and Android. The mobile version is described as containing "all the same content as PC and console," confirming it is a port rather than new content. The developer's closing line ("That's all for now folks!") carries no suggestion of upcoming additions to the game. INMOST was clearly designed and shipped as a complete, self-contained experience. The developer has never announced a roadmap, season pass, or post-launch content beyond the initial polish patches. The game has been content-stable since December 2020.
