The two-person studio at Evil Goose Games maintained an active update cadence throughout Early Access, shipping major content updates (the Pet Update on October 24, 2024; the Quests Update on March 5, 2025) alongside numerous feature patches and bug fixes. At the 1.0 launch post on November 7, 2025, the developers wrote: "The biggest milestone is now behind us, but our journey isn't over yet. We're preparing to dive into the Medieval Fest, gather even more feedback, and truly feel content with Inn Tycoon's full release." This statement hinted at continued engagement post-launch, and consistent with that, the studio shipped one further update on July 15, 2025 — achieving Steam Deck Verified status. However, that July 15, 2025 update was a UI/compatibility patch, not a major content release. The last developer communication of any kind was on July 15, 2025, and today's date is September 24, 2026 — meaning the studio has been silent for over 14 months. During Early Access, major content updates arrived roughly every 4–5 months. Fourteen months of silence greatly exceeds that established pattern, and no new content, roadmap, or announcement has appeared since the 1.0 launch post. The "Medieval Fest" mentioned at 1.0 launch was never announced as a standalone release, and given the time elapsed, the hint appears not to have materialized as committed content. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no outstanding roadmap commitments, and no developer statements announcing further content after November 2025. The game launched as a complete 1.0 package and the subsequent post-1.0 activity consisted only of maintenance and compatibility work. The sustained silence since July 2025 — well beyond the historical update window — supports the conclusion that development has concluded at the 1.0 release.
