Insomnia: Theater in the Head

Insomnia: Theater in the Head launched on December 15, 2022 as a compact Point & Click puzzle game from Perfect Day Studio. The developer shipped a hotfix the day after launch (December 16-17, 2022), followed by a minor feature update adding achievements on December 19, 2022. On February 24, 2023, they released a Soundtrack and Artbook as companion DLC alongside a small feature patch. The final update to the game itself was a Korean localization fix on March 23, 2023. Both DLC items have been released and no additional DLC has been listed. Since March 2023, Perfect Day Studio has shifted its attention entirely to new projects. A January 2023 post mentioned polishing localizations for their second game, "A Perfect Day." By August 2025, the producer announced the second game was "almost ready," and by September 2025 they were playtesting their third game, "We, Junk Artists," which then participated in Steam Next Fest in February 2026. There have been no communications about new content for Insomnia since March 2023, and the studio's public statements make clear their development focus has fully moved on. The game launched as a short, self-contained experience and has been complete since its post-launch polish wrapped up in early 2023.
