The developer posted a balance patch the day after launch (September 18, 2022), and that appears to be the last update directed at this game. The only other developer news post is from January 29, 2024, and it is an announcement for an entirely separate game — an FPS roguelike called Heart Attack — with no mention of new content for Into the Sinkhole. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, no season pass, and no developer statements indicating further content is planned. Numerous artifacts have been discovered around the huge Sinkhole.
But since it’s very deep, it’s too dangerous for humans to go explore themselves.
As a result, the research team is sending AI-robot, ‘Laika’, into the Sinkhole.
So... what secrets will be hidden down there?
Easy mode (Strawberry mode) / Hard mode (Watermelon mode)
‘Strawberry mode’ is a relatively easy mode. You should choose this mode if you would like to focus on enjoying the story elements of the game.
‘Watermelon mode’ is the hardest level of difficulty. With just one mistake, you might even end up at the beginning again. If you have mastered platformers, this mode is for you.
