Evaluation

iO launched on Steam on December 5, 2014 as a physics platformer with 150 levels. The developer, Gamious, supported it actively in its early life: a series of bug fix and feature patches ran through early 2015, and on October 8, 2015, a substantial free content update shipped adding 75 new levels (the Irresistiball / Impossiball packs), new mechanics, and visual enhancements — bringing the total to 225 levels as advertised on the store page today. The last developer communication of any kind was on October 17, 2018, when Gamious pushed a patch fixing monitor flicker, Steam Cloud saving edge cases, achievements, and performance issues. The post noted it had been "almost 4 years" since launch and expressed fondness for the game, but contained no mention of future content or further updates. No news posts, announcements, DLC listings, or roadmaps have appeared since that date. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no outstanding commitments, and no developer statement suggesting additional content is planned. The game shipped as a complete product, received one major free content expansion, and then received a final maintenance patch in October 2018. The store description matches the final shipped state (225 levels). With no communication since October 17, 2018 — nearly eight years ago — and no outstanding commitments, the game is complete.
