Ionball 2: Ionstorm

Ionball 2: Ionstorm launched on June 6, 2014 as a complete arcade game with 60 levels and 3 boss encounters. Shortly after launch, Ironsun Studios released the Tower Assault DLC on September 1, 2014 — a free expansion adding a new survival game mode and 30 additional levels. Following that, the developer continued to patch the game with bug fixes and feature improvements, adding Steam achievements in November 2015 and Xbox controller support in June 2016. The final recorded developer communication is a bug acknowledgment post from September 21, 2016. Since that date — nearly a decade ago — the developer has posted nothing new, announced no further content, and no unreleased DLC exists on the store. The store description presents the game as a complete package. The developer noted in June 2016 that they had been "busy with other projects," suggesting their focus had shifted away from this title. All shipped content is accounted for and the development cycle appears to have concluded naturally.
