Island Market Simulator launched its full v1.0 release on September 3, 2026, graduating from Early Access. The 1.0 update was substantial, adding a lobby and voice chat system, a full map, a worker/apprentice system, new animals, fishing, a sushi market, a fertilizer machine, a reworked tutorial, and significant performance improvements. Critically, the very next day — September 4, 2026 — the developer posted a hotfix and explicitly stated: "More updates and new content are on the way — and fast. We're not slowing down after v1.0 — quite the opposite." This is a clear developer statement of intent to continue shipping content after the 1.0 release. This is reinforced by the game's history: throughout Early Access (at least March through August 2026), the developer shipped substantial feature updates roughly every 3–4 weeks — including fishing, pets, horse riding, a basketball minigame, pantry organization, a fertilizer machine, and custom keybindings. That sustained pattern of content delivery, combined with the explicit post-launch commitment to continued updates, indicates the game will continue to receive meaningful new content.
