Isopod launched on October 21, 2025 and received a series of post-launch bug fix patches through November 20, 2025. The November 20, 2025 patch post mentioned that a "new and improved game map" was coming in a future update — this was the basis for the previous evaluation's content warning. However, that post is now nearly 11 months old (as of October 1, 2026), and no further developer communications have appeared since then. The developer has not announced any additional content, roadmap, DLC, or expansion beyond that brief mention. Given the extended silence and the relatively minor nature of what was teased (a map improvement, not a named expansion or DLC), the developer's earlier mention of a map update most likely refers to work that was either completed quietly or quietly dropped — in either case, there is no current outstanding commitment to track. The only DLC is the soundtrack, which was released on October 29, 2025. The game appears to have shipped as a complete indie title, with post-launch patches wrapping up by November 2025.
