Jump King launched on May 3, 2019 and received two free expansions in quick succession: New Babe+ on June 7, 2019, and Ghost of the Babe on December 13, 2019, which was described at launch as the "third and ultimate chapter of Jump King journey." Since then, no additional story content has been added to the base game itself. The store description confirms the game includes both expansions and presents the package as complete. In February 2024, the developer launched Steam Workshop support alongside a creation tool called Worldsmith, enabling players to build and share custom levels, skins, and mods. This has been followed by a steady stream of feature patches and bug fixes to improve the Workshop and Worldsmith tooling through May 2025. These updates are focused on supporting community-created content rather than delivering new official story content. Developer communications about future content are specifically tied to a separate sequel project called Jump King Quest (formerly Jump King Online), not the base Jump King game. A March 2025 developer post about Jump King Quest teasing new additions refers to that standalone sequel, not to Jump King itself. The DLC list contains only the released soundtrack (May 2019), with no unreleased content listed. Jump King as a standalone game appears to be a complete, finished product. Its official content concluded with Ghost of the Babe in December 2019, and ongoing developer activity is focused on Workshop tooling and the sequel.
