Karma City Police launched into 1.0 on December 16, 2021, after 30 months of development by a solo developer. The 1.0 launch post noted plans to continue improving the experience and work toward a console release. A follow-up update (Build 1.05) shipped on February 15, 2022, adding new gameplay content including a 6th shift with additional calls, a new save slot system, and various quality-of-life improvements. The store listing includes one DLC — the Karma City Police Soundtrack — which remains unreleased with no announced release date.
