KartRider: Drift has been permanently shut down for Global, Console, and Mobile players. Nexon America announced in August 2024 that the service would be terminated, stopped accepting new purchases of in-game currency immediately, and confirmed a final shutdown date of February 26, 2025 (UTC). The shutdown proceeded as scheduled, and the game can no longer be purchased or downloaded — the Steam listing shows no purchase options available. The Korean and Taiwanese PC services were split off and continue to operate separately, but those regions are not accessible through the Steam global storefront. The game's run on Steam has ended.
