KATANA KAMI: A Way of the Samurai Story launched on February 19, 2020 as a complete, self-contained game. Both DLC packs (the Wanderer Set and Five Famous Swords Set) were released on the same day as the base game, indicating they were day-one content bundles rather than post-launch additions. Following launch, the developer issued two bug-fix patches in March 2020 to address progress-blocking issues and miscellaneous fixes. Since March 26, 2020, there have been no further developer communications, updates, or announcements of any kind. No future content has ever been announced, no roadmap was published, and no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The developer has never suggested additional content was planned. The game launched as a finished product and all post-launch activity was limited to bug-fixing shortly after release.
