Kebab Chefs! launched into full 1.0 release on June 11, 2026, after approximately two years in Early Access. The developer has been consistently active throughout, shipping major content updates including a free Bakery DLC (August 8, 2025), a competitive Chef's Arena mode (November 2024), controller and Steam Deck support (May 2025), and numerous feature and quality-of-life patches. Most importantly, on July 23, 2026 — just six weeks after the 1.0 launch — the developer published a clear statement about what comes next. They confirmed that reaching 1.0 is not the end: new content is planned, including a brand-new game mode where multiple players run competing restaurants in a shared neighborhood. Console launches are also being prepared. The developer described this as content they are "very excited about" and something they're actively working toward, while also continuing bug fixes and system improvements in the meantime. A bug-fix patch was also issued on July 4, 2026, showing the team remains actively engaged post-launch.
