KEEP LOOKING launched on November 6, 2024 and has received a steady stream of updates since then: a UI fix patch on November 9, 2024, a major localization update on November 14, 2024 adding 21 languages, Steam Deck/Linux support confirmation in December 2024, and a significant Version 30 update on May 22, 2025 that added Mac support, a new minigame type, Discord Rich Presence, leaderboard improvements, and an engine update. On June 15, 2026, the developer posted a direct statement about the game's future: "Don't worry, we haven't completely forgotten about it. Stay tuned for more news on KEEP LOOKING as we approach the 2 year anniversary!" This confirms that additional content or updates are still planned for the game, with the two-year anniversary in November 2026 serving as a rough target window. The developer is currently also building a new game (Thanks for the Soup), but has explicitly stated they intend to return to KEEP LOOKING.

About this game

KEEP LOOKING is a nerve-wracking horror game that puts you in a dark, claustrophobic cave with a relentless creature. Survive by flashing your dying flashlight at the right moments, too soon or too late, and it’s over. You must keep an eye on the creature, but beware: staring too long is just as deadly.

You are face-to-face with a creature that only moves when you can't see it. Occasionally, the light will fail, and you'll need to time your flashlight flash perfectly. Just remember: KEEP LOOKING, or it might get you. Try to survive until the timer runs out, and don't get tricked by the creature.
