Evaluation
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes launched on October 8, 2015 and has received a steady stream of updates over the years — platform expansions (Mac OS X in December 2015), mod/Workshop support (August 2016), motion controller support (January 2017), Japanese localization (February 2019), and an extensive multilingual update culminating in September 2020 that brought support for 26 languages. Crucially, in that September 2020 post, the developer explicitly stated: "We won't be adding support for more languages" — a clear signal that this particular development thread was being closed out. The most recent patch on record is a bug fix from November 17, 2020, which addressed mod loading issues. No news, patches, announcements, or roadmap posts have appeared since November 17, 2020. The sole DLC — the soundtrack — was released on August 11, 2016 and no further DLC has been listed or announced. The store description contains no mention of upcoming content, seasons, or additional expansions. With no outstanding commitments, no unreleased DLC, and more than five years of silence since the last developer communication, the game appears to have reached its complete, finished state. It launched as a contained party game and has been fully supported through to its final patch.
Evidence
Developer explicitly stated 'We won't be adding support for more languages' when finalizing support for 26 languages — a clear closure statement on a major development initiative.
Only one DLC exists — the soundtrack, released August 11, 2016. No unreleased or announced DLC is listed.
