Kibbi Keeper

Kibbi Keeper is a free-to-play virtual pet exploration game developed by SMU Guildhall (a student game development program). The base game launched on March 4, 2022, and was followed by a single free DLC — Kibbi Keeper VR — which released on March 18, 2022, just two weeks later. The developer's note accompanying the VR DLC release makes clear that this was made by two student team members in their spare time and was being shared "as-is," suggesting it was a bonus addition rather than the start of an ongoing content roadmap. All announced and listed DLC has shipped. There have been no developer posts, roadmaps, or announcements of additional content since March 2022. The store description references the VR DLC as something to "keep an eye out for," but that content has since released. The game appears to have launched as a complete student project, with the VR expansion rounding out its content in March 2022.
