Kidz launched on July 26, 2018 and was developed in three episodic chapters, all of which shipped within a two-week window: Chapter 1 on July 27, 2018, Chapter 2 on August 2, 2018, and Chapter 3 — the final chapter — on August 9, 2018. The Chapter 3 announcement explicitly describes it as the "final chapter" that concludes the story of the three children. A bug fix was issued on August 9, 2018 to address issues with Chapter 3, after which the developer has not posted any further communications. The game's store description presents it as a complete narrative experience adapted from a Taiwan Public Television series. All three planned episodes have shipped, the story is concluded, and there has been no developer communication since August 2018 indicating any further content is planned.
