KILL IT WITH FIRE! 2 launched into Early Access on April 16, 2024, and shipped three major content updates during that period: the Wild West Update (September 17, 2024), the Cyber Core Update (December 17, 2024), and the Spider Hunt Update (April 16, 2025). On November 25, 2025, the game officially left Early Access with its Version 1.0 launch, which included the final major content update: Spider Hell — a new level featuring the Spider God boss, new enemies, weapons, challenges, and what the developer explicitly described as "the epic finale of the story campaign." The 1.0 launch post described Spider Hell as the "final level" and framed the release as completing the journey that began in Early Access. The October 2025 developer update similarly described the upcoming Spider Hell update as "the 1.0 version of the game," signaling this was the designed endpoint of the content roadmap. Embark on an epic spider hunt across seven distinct worlds. Exterminate the pesky arachnids in a mysterious manor, liberate a town in the Wild West, explore cyberspace, and descend into Spider Hell. Every level is a unique battle against the spiders!

Brew magic potions in a bubbling cauldron. Demolish a megapolis as a kaiju-sized madman. Defend a cacti-owned saloon from waves of spiders. Win a drone race in virtual reality. There are more than 60 challenges to complete!

‘Okay, all this spider-hunting sounds fun, but what if I want to play as a spider?’ you might ask. And yes, you can indeed play as a spider in an online 8-player PvP mode called Spider Hunt. It’s actual humans vs actual arachnids (also controlled by humans)!
