Evaluation
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched on February 4, 2025 and received a planned post-launch expansion program consisting of three story DLCs: Brushes with Death (May 15, 2025), Legacy of the Forge (September 9, 2025), and Mysteria Ecclesiae (November 11, 2025). On November 18, 2025, the developer explicitly described Mysteria Ecclesiae as "the third and final story adventure for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II," closing out the Expansion Pass. A Royal Edition bundling the base game and all post-launch content launched on November 12, 2025, marketed as "the ultimate way to experience" the game with "live the ultimate medieval adventure – now complete with all updates and expansions."
All 10 DLC items listed on the store are released. Since the completion of the Expansion Pass in November 2025, developer activity has consisted only of maintenance work: a hotfix on December 2, 2025, a technical compatibility patch on March 5, 2026, a small cross-promotion patch on April 20, 2026, and a minor quest/feature patch on June 25, 2026. None of these contain new story content or announce future expansions.
A studio retrospective published on February 16, 2026 celebrated 10 million copies sold and discussed Warhorse's history and philosophy, but made no announcements of additional KCD2 content. The content director noted the team had taken "a reset after releasing KCD II and all of the DLCs," and spoke broadly about the studio's future direction without referencing any KCD2 follow-up content. The game's planned content program is complete.
