Kingsway

Kingsway launched on July 18, 2017 and received one major post-launch content update: the Ascended Edition (version 1.2.1), released on November 27, 2021, which added a new player class, dozens of new items, new skills, quests, areas, enemies, and a wide range of gameplay improvements. A notable publishing event occurred in June 2024: Adult Swim Games (the original publisher) was shut down by Warner Bros., which would have resulted in Kingsway being delisted from Steam. However, the developer Andrew Morrish successfully transferred the publishing rights to himself, keeping the game available. The June 30, 2024 post mentioned to "expect a small update soon," but no such update has been documented in the news feed since then. With only one major content release in the game's post-launch history and no announced future content, no unreleased DLC, and no sustained update cadence suggesting more content is on the way, the game appears to have reached its content completion point with the Ascended Edition in November 2021. The 2024 communication resolved a delisting risk but did not indicate any new content plans beyond a vague mention of a small upcoming update — which, given that it was posted in June 2024 and nothing has shipped as of June 2026, appears to have either been very minor (not documented) or not delivered.
