Kittens and Yarn is a small, self-contained casual puzzle game that launched on June 17, 2021. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped two minor updates: one on June 18, 2021 adding additional puzzle levels, and one on August 26, 2021 adding quality-of-life buttons for resetting levels and game data. Both updates were small feature patches responding to player feedback shortly after release. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 26, 2021 — nearly five years of silence. The store description presents a fixed set of features with no mention of planned additions, roadmaps, or future content. No DLC has ever been listed.
