Evaluation

KLETKA left Early Access and officially launched on February 19, 2026, simultaneously releasing on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and consoles (Xbox, PlayStation 4/5). The game had been in Early Access since December 2024 and received multiple major content updates during that period — Echoes Below (June 26, 2025), Greenhouse Unit (November 3, 2025), and the full 1.0.0 release adding the Prison biome. The developer was explicit at launch that post-release content was already in the works: the 1.0.0 release post stated "Another major update is already in development and planned for release in the coming months." That promise was fulfilled by the Singularity Update 1.1.0 on April 29, 2026, which added a full new Tier 3 biome (the Korolev Research Facility), multiple new enemies, weapons, items, and a new Quest System — the largest post-launch content drop to date. Development activity has continued at a strong pace since launch. Feature patches shipped on May 22, 2026 (Update 1.1.3) and May 28, 2026 (Update 1.1.4), adding new floors and upgrading the engine to Unreal Engine 5.7. As recently as June 12, 2026, the developer announced the KLETKA Mod Kit — a major new feature in active development that will bring modding tools and Steam Workshop/mod.io integration to all players. The developer's own anniversary post in December 2025 stated "we won't stop supporting the project after release: we have one major update planned. At least." The cadence of updates since launch — a major content drop, multiple feature patches, and a significant new system actively in development — confirms this is a game the studio continues to invest in substantially.
Evidence
Developer announced the KLETKA Mod Kit is in active development, describing it as a 'major overhaul of the game' alongside new modding tools, Steam Workshop integration, and mod.io cross-platform mod support.

About this game

The most dangerous criminals are convicted and sent to Kletka. Your sentence is to descend into the depths of the Gigastructure while maintaining a living and hungry elevator. Never forget to feed it if you don't want to end up being eaten alive. Kletka is omnivorous, be ready to feed it both fuel and flesh.

The Gigastructure is an endlessly expanding building. Traps and anomalies fill the corridors. Any stop you make could be your last.

Samosbor is a mysterious anomaly that kills anything in its path. This terrifying phenomenon is feared by all inhabitants as no one has ever survived it. When you hear the siren, it's time to drop everything and run to the elevator as fast as you can. Kletka is the only thing that can protect you from this anomaly.

Form a team of up to six people and descend in the elevator. Friends tend to survive when they work together, but friends also make for good fuel.
